Framing is always an interesting challenge. It needs both to work with and enhance the art, and it is also the bridge between art and the space in which it is to hang. The accepted style in Cornwall, which is a centre for the arts, is very minimal white on white. Here I have chosen a lime waxed molding both immediately around the oil painting and framing the whole. Between is a white painted board. I do like this clean but finished look.
